This my place to ramble about how great nature is and how much we can learn from it. I'm obsessed and I want everyone else to be too!
Why "Among The Birches", you might ask. I named this blog after the place I used to go to just sit and be in nature when I was younger. I lived in upstate New York at the time, and my family's yard backed up into woods. There were paper and river birches along the edge of those woods that created a sort of grove. In the spring time, forget-me-nots and violets would bloom around the trees. As a 6-11-year-old, I was entranced by that grove. I would sit against one of the birches and draw, or write, or just think. This blog is my replacement for that place.
